Patrick Serafin possesses a robust background in aerospace engineering with significant experience in operations and research and development. At Beyond Ares Technologies, Patrick served as Chief Operations Officer and Vice President of R&D, where spacecraft platforms, systems, and sub-systems were developed. Additionally, Patrick completed multiple co-op roles at Gulfstream Aerospace in various engineering capacities, including flight test and human factors engineering. At Draper, contributions included work on flight software for NASA's Artemis missions and simulations for NASA's Crew Resupply Services 2 missions. Previously, as a researcher and founding member of the Engineering Physics Propulsion Laboratory at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a spacecraft prototype was designed, and control algorithms were developed. Currently, Patrick is a Guidance, Navigation, and Mission Analyst at NASA, focusing on developing landing controls simulation for SpaceX’s Lunar Starship. Patrick earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2019.
