Peter Lyon

Peter Lyon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and management within the aerospace sector. Currently serving as the Executive Fellow to the Kennedy Space Center Deputy Director at NASA since March 2013, Peter provides leadership and support to the Executive Team, managing daily operations, coordinating strategic initiatives, and facilitating effective communication. Previous roles at NASA include the Command Control and Communications Systems Engineering Integration and Test Manager and Requirements Manager for Ground Support Equipment development. Peter’s background also includes experience at Science Applications International Corporation, Productivity Apex, INC, and Lockheed Martin, along with a strong educational foundation featuring a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
