Robert Carter is a Technical Fellow at Lincoln Electric North America since 2025. They previously held various leadership positions within NASA, including Deputy Chief of the Materials and Structures Division and Chief of the High Temperature and Smart Alloys Branch, from 2015 to 2022. Carter earned a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering from Auburn University and a Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University.
