Rusty Fender

Rusty Fender has extensive experience in aerospace engineering and media, with a current role at NASA focusing on spacecraft engineering and telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) since August 2020. Concurrently, Rusty works with Fox Television Stations in satellite/spacecraft TT&C flight engineering and orbital mechanics. Previous positions include professorship at Wilkes University, a helicopter traffic reporter and producer at CBS Radio Networks, and a syndicated radio host for Sirius/XM Radio. Rusty has significant managerial experience in broadcast operations with NBC and AT&T. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Scranton.
