Sam Cordner

Sam Cordner is a skilled Materials Engineer specializing in additive manufacturing and AI solutions. At NASA, they lead a team focused on Damage Tolerance and Fracture Control, managing over 40 projects related to material systems. Sam has contributed to the qualification of numerous additive manufacturing components for spaceflight applications and co-authored NASA Standard 6030. Their previous experience includes roles at DMS Technologies, Boeing, and Mesker Door, where they applied their expertise in aerothermal analysis and process improvements. Sam holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
