Sean U. holds B.S. degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Georgia Southwestern State University, both earned with Honors in 2005. Sean also earned an M.S. degree and a Doctorate in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Kansas in 2008 and 2018, respectively. They worked as a Propulsion Analysis Engineer at Spirit AeroSystems from 2008 to 2011, focusing on aerodynamics and thermodynamics analysis, and then served as a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer at Bombardier from 2011 to 2015. Currently, Sean is the HLS SVS Technical Integration Manager at NASA, where they manage technical aspects of temperature-sensitive systems.
