Stan Love is a NASA astronaut with extensive experience in space exploration, including serving as a Space Shuttle crewmember and performing two spacewalks. Currently, Love is a member of the Board of Directors for Trans Astronautics Corporation, providing scientific and technical advice. Love's background in planetary science is supported by a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Physics from Harvey Mudd College. Previous roles include postdoctoral research and teaching at renowned universities, as well as engineering positions at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
