Stephen Lee

Stephen Lee is an experienced Aircraft Pilot and Chief of Aviation Maintenance at NASA, responsible for overseeing helicopter maintenance operations at Kennedy Space Center since October 2022. With a robust background in military aviation, Stephen serves on the Board of Directors for the Combat Helicopter Pilots Association and has held various leadership roles, including EC145/H145 Aircraft Flight Instructor and Chief Pilot for the State of Nevada, managing training programs and operational readiness. Prior military experience includes significant positions in the US Army, where Stephen supervised large teams of aviation maintenance technicians and pilots, conducted analysis for aviation operations, and managed maintenance for numerous aircraft during combat. Stephen's educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC San Diego.
