Suzanne Bell

Lead, Behavioral Health & Performance Laboratory

Suzanne Bell is a distinguished expert in behavioral health and performance psychology, currently serving as the Lead for NASA's Behavioral Health & Performance Laboratory since January 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing research plans and developing countermeasures for performance risks. Previously, Suzanne held the position of Acting Chief of the Biomedical Sciences Branch at NASA, providing leadership during a transitional phase. Additionally, Suzanne has operated a consulting firm, Suzanne Bell Consulting LLC, since 2000, focusing on strategic staffing and team effectiveness. An academic tenure as a Professor of Psychology at DePaul University from 2004 to 2023 involved teaching courses in industrial and organizational psychology and conducting research on strategic staffing.
