Thomas Brooks

Thomas Brooks is currently the Aerospace Engineering Team Lead at NASA's Advanced Concepts Office, where they analyze, design, integrate, and test thermal and structural subsystems for payloads in Low Earth Orbit, on the International Space Station, and on the Moon. They previously worked as a Mechanical Designer at Scientific Research Corporation and as an Aerospace Engineer at Advanced Optical Systems, where they contributed to the development of UAV optical systems. Brooks is also an accomplished author with several papers on space telescopes and mirror substrate materials. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace and a Master of Science in Aerospace Systems Engineering from Auburn University and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, respectively.
