Thomas Chen

Thomas Chen is currently the ECLSS Analysis Lead at NASA Johnson Space Center, focusing on environmental control and life support systems (ECLSS). They manage team support for NASA projects through advanced modeling and analysis, contributing to the development of next-generation technologies for human spaceflight. Previously, Thomas served as the Engineering Directorate Digital Engineering Lead, guiding digital transformation efforts at the center. They hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, where they demonstrated expertise in catalytic systems and chemical processes.
