Thomas E. Jacks has extensive experience in aerospace and engineering, currently serving as the Director of the Technology, Innovation, and Research Office at NASA's Stennis Space Center since November 2001. Previous positions at NASA include Chief of the Engineering Division, Chief of the Mechanical Engineering Branch, Deputy Chief of the Mechanical Engineering Branch, and Lead of the Mechanical and Component Design Group. Prior to joining NASA, Thomas worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Orbital Sciences Corporation and was involved in Capital Equipment Development at Intel Corporation. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from Auburn University.
