Tom Brown

Tom Brown is a seasoned engineer currently serving as the Chief Engineer for the Moon to Mars initiative within NASA's Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate. They have held various leadership roles at NASA, including Director of the Propulsion Systems Department and NASA Technical Fellow for Propulsion. Tom earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, along with a B.S. in Physics from Allegheny College. Their extensive experience spans strategic planning, business development, and technical leadership within space transportation systems.
