Ye Mu

Ye Mu currently serves as a NASA FINESST Future Investigator at NASA, focusing on research regarding the dynamics of the South American Low-Level Jet and its impact on precipitation, supported by a three-year NASA FINESST grant. Additionally, Ye Mu is a Graduate Student Researcher at the Earth Research Institute and has previously held roles as a Visiting Researcher at the NSF NCAR Research Applications Laboratory, an Earth System Science Research Intern at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, and a Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara. Academic credentials include a PhD in progress at UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Science in Geography from San Diego State University, where Ye Mu also earned a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography, along with an Associate's degree in Geography from Grossmont College.
