Zunayed Abdullah

Zunayed Abdullah is currently an International Space Station Spacecraft Mission Manager at NASA's Johnson Space Center, where they lead spacecraft safety system engineering teams and manage workflow and performance. With a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Zunayed has previously served as a Flight Controller and held various roles at NASA, including Acting Group Lead and Inventory and Stowage Flight Controller, accumulating over 500 hours of real-time support experience. Their background includes internships focusing on physics and math modeling for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program as well as research roles in additive manufacturing. Zunayed has also coached fencing for children, demonstrating a commitment to leadership and education.
