Angela Fiege has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Angela started their career in 1986 as a Patient Care Manager and Staff Nurse at Methodist Hospital of Indiana Inc. In 1987, they transitioned to becoming a Flight Nurse at the same hospital and continued in that role until 2006. Angela Fiege completed their Bachelor of Applied Science in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Indiana University Indianapolis between 1980 and 1985. Angela also completed an Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Indiana University School of Medicine from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they undertook a Fellowship in multidisciplinary critical care medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine between 2008 and 2009. Prior to their medical education, they attended Purdue University from 1977 to 1980, where they studied Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
