Chris Wolford has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Chris started their career as a Desktop Support Intern at Cox Communications in 2004, where they provided support for over 500 users and assisted in the installation of a Cisco VOIP phone system. Chris then worked as an IT Support Specialist at WFTV, where they created a test lab and assisted in resource reallocation during building remodeling. At Hardin Construction Company, they served as an IT Support Specialist, managing virtual machines and providing desktop support. Chris also gained experience as a Network Administrator at WSB-TV, providing desktop support and performing PC maintenance. Chris then joined KTRK as a Broadcast Systems Specialist, where they managed a critical production environment, trained a team, and drafted technical documentation. Currently, they are employed by NASCAR, initially as a Manager of Emerging Technology, and has progressed to roles such as Director of Media Technology and Senior Director of Media & Event Technology. At NASCAR, their responsibilities include project management, budgeting, vendor communication, and liaising with non-technical departments.
Chris Wolford completed an A.S. in Networking Services Tech at Santa Fe Community College from 2001 to 2004. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, Wolford obtained a B.A.S. in Information Technology from the University of Central Florida.
