Jason Nadeau

Director Of Risk Management & Loss Control at NASCAR

Jason Nadeau has extensive work experience in the field of firefighting and public safety. Jason began their career in 1993 as a Battalion Commander at Volusia County Fire Services and later served as a Captain at Daytona International Speedway from 1994 to 2013. During their time at the speedway, they also took on the role of Manager of Emergency Services from 2013 to 2019. Jason joined Daytona State College in 2005 as a Fire Science Instructor, where they provided training to new recruits and coordinated the delivery of the Florida State Fire College Minimum Standards Curriculum. Jason also served as the Lead Instructor in the Minimum Standards Night Program. In 2006, they became a Battalion Chief at Sanford Airport Authority Fire Rescue. In 2019, they transitioned to NASCAR, where they served as the Director of Risk Management & Loss Control. Throughout their career, Jason has focused on enhancing public safety by equipping future firefighters with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Jason Nadeau has a high school diploma from Deltona High School, which they obtained from 1990 to 1993. Jason also holds a State Certification in Firefighter/EMT from Seminole State College of Florida, which they completed in 1994-1995. Furthermore, Jason has acquired multiple State Certifications in Fire/Arson Investigation and Prevention from Florida State Fire College between 1998 and 2008. In 2006-2008, they earned an Associates Degree in Fire Science from Keiser University. Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, they pursued an Associate's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Risk Management and Insurance from Daytona State College.
