John Martin

VP Media & Event Technology at NASCAR

John Martin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John began their career in 1990 at WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT (INTERNATIONAL) LIMITED as a Sr. Marketing Representative. From there, they joined Sara Lee Branded Apparel in 1993 as the Director of Licensed Products. In 1999, they transitioned to Golfport, where they served as the Director of Sales and Marketing before joining Turner Broadcasting System, Inc in 2000 as the Sr. Director of Sports Marketing and Programming. In 2007, they joined NASCAR and held various leadership positions, including Managing Director NASCAR Media Group and Managing Director Digital Media. Their most recent role is the VP of Media & Event Technology at NASCAR, starting in February 2020.

John Martin earned their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Colgate University, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. John later pursued a Master's degree in Sports Studies from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, completing their studies from 1988 to 1990.
