John Probst

John Probst is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the racing industry, currently serving as the EVP and Chief Racing Development Officer at NASCAR since July 2016. Probst has held several senior leadership positions at NASCAR, including SVP and Senior Vice President of Innovation and Racing Development. Prior to NASCAR, Probst worked at Earnhardt Ganassi Racing as Technical Director and at Red Bull Racing in the same role. Probst's career began at Ford Motor Company, where a tenure as Engineering Supervisor spanned over a decade. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg.
