Chris Novick

Chris Novick has over 16 years of work experience in various roles within the software engineering and technology industry. Chris is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Nascent, where they started in 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Nascent from 2021 to 2023. Before joining Nascent, Chris worked at Disney Streaming Services as a Senior Software Engineer for Connected Devices from 2020 to 2021. Chris also has experience as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Moen Incorporated, working on in-house IoT hardware and software development from 2018 to 2020. Earlier in their career, Chris held positions at Philips as a Computer Engineer / Project Manager from 2015 to 2018, at NASA Glenn Research Center as a Computer Engineer from 2009 to 2015, at Ideas Unleashed as a Technical Director from 2007 to 2009, and at The A. I. Root Candle Company as a Network Administrator/Software Developer from 2005 to 2007. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in software development, hardware development, system architecture, mentoring, and project management.

Chris Novick completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Toledo from 2002 to 2008. From 2012 to 2014, they pursued post-baccalaureate studies at Cleveland State University. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, they attained an Associate of Science degree in Applied Science from Lorain County Community College.
