Bill Spoor

Bill Spoor, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Capital Solutions at Nasdaq Private Market since November 2023. With extensive experience in investment banking and finance, Bill held positions as Managing Director in both Goldman Sachs' Leveraged Finance division from March 2007 to June 2018 and Merrill Lynch's Investment Banking and Global Markets from July 1995 to February 2007. Bill is also the Founder of Happy Valley Uganda, Inc., which focuses on disrupting poverty through education in Uganda, and was the Founder of Underground Farms, LLC, which was acquired in December 2023, facilitating technology-driven connections between non-industrial livestock farmers and consumers. Bill holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BS from Penn State University.
