Arash Mortazavi is a seasoned professional in operations management and software engineering, currently serving as Senior Director for Operations Management Europe at Nasdaq since January 2023. Prior to this role, Arash was the Chief Executive Officer of AAICCO from January 2021 to December 2022. Arash's tenure at Nasdaq began in September 2011, where various positions included Director overseeing the Cloud and Risk platform and Nordics derivative Market Operations, as well as Senior Manager leading application management for the Nasdaq Nordic and Baltic Markets. Earlier roles included Technical Account Manager Specialist, Software Programmer, and QA Analyst, contributing to complex electronic trading platforms and ensuring quality in software products for multiple exchanges. Arash holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering in Distributed Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
