Sagar Jobanputra

Sagar Jobanputra, CFA, FRM, currently serves as Senior Director, Financial Risk Management Team Lead at Nasdaq since August 2021, overseeing multiple aspects of financial risks including credit, market, capital, and liquidity. Prior experience includes holding the position of Senior Associate at Goldman Sachs from April 2018 to August 2021, where Sagar contributed to various projects within the Internal Audit Corporate Risk team, with a focus on market risk management and liquidity risk stress measurement. Sagar has also worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Credit and Country Risk Audit Associate, performing audits related to counterparty credit risk and collateral management. Earlier roles include teaching assistant at New York University and marketing positions that involved event organization and strategy development. Sagar holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
