Sima Rezaeipour

Sima Rezaeipour is a Senior Data Scientist at Nasdaq, specializing in AI Analytics and Fraud Machine Learning since January 2024. Previously, Sima held various positions including Senior Software Developer focusing on Anti-Money Laundering at Nasdaq, and Data Scientist at Dalhousie University and Best Buy Canada, where forecasting models on time series data were developed. Sima's expertise extends to advanced machine learning techniques, applied during tenure as a Machine Learning Developer at Kinaxis. With a solid foundation in software development and research, Sima has worked with multiple companies across the technology sector, including NAK, Hayat, Sepehr Parsian Co., Eniac Tech, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance. Sima holds a PhD in Computer Science from Dalhousie University, a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics from Sharif University of Technology, and completed a Data Science program at USP – Universidade de São Paulo.
