Jessie Lund is a seasoned professional in clean transportation and sustainability, currently serving as Senior Program Director for Clean Transportation at the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) since March 2024. Prior roles include Deputy Director at CALSTART and Senior Associate at Rocky Mountain Institute, where Jessie focused on carbon-free mobility and heavy-duty trucking. Experiences also include sustainability coordination for the City and County of Denver and engagement initiatives with the Alliance for Climate Education. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources from Colorado State University and another Master’s in Conservation Leadership from El Colegio de la Frontera Sur, along with a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Formed by the states in 1986, NASEO facilitates peer learning among state energy officials, serves as a resource for and about State Energy Offices, and advocates the interests of the State Energy Offices to Congress and federal agencies.
