Melinda Kimble has extensive experience in finance and human resources, currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Generalist and Controller at Nashville Ballet since February 2017. In these roles, Melinda directs all accounts ledgers, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, manages financial processes including budgeting, payroll processing, and grant compliance, while also leading and mentoring HR and finance staff. Prior experience includes key positions at Combined Insurance, where Melinda oversaw finance and expense management, planned budgets, and managed a significant annual budget across multiple departments. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from PennWest California.

Nashville Ballet
Since its founding in 1986, Nashville Ballet has grown to become the largest professional ballet company in Tennessee, presenting a varied repertoire of classical ballet and contemporary works by noted choreographers, including original works by Artistic Director & CEO Nick Mullikin and Resident Choreographer Mollie Sansone. Nashville Ballet owns its own building, The Martin Center for Nashville Ballet, a customized facility that serves as a home for our professional dancers, school students and administrative offices. Though some performances are held at The Martin Center for Nashville Ballet, most performances are held at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) in downtown Nashville.
