Nick Mullikin

Nick Mullikin has a diverse work experience in the field of ballet and arts management. Nick started their career as a representative for the Ballet West Dancer's Association and later became a delegate for the American Guild of Musical Artists. Nick then joined Ballet West as an artist, and later served as a tour manager and assistant to the artistic director. Nick also worked as a development associate for Ballet West before moving on to the Office of U.S. Congressman Lloyd Doggett as an intern. Nick interned again at Chlopak, Leonard, Schechter and Associates before joining Overseas Strategic Consulting as a senior analyst. In 2013, they became a company manager at The Washington Ballet. Mullikin then worked at Nashville Ballet, taking on various roles including school registrar, associate director of Nashville's Nutcracker, director of NB2, associate artistic director, CEO/associate artistic director, and eventually assuming the position of artistic director and CEO.

Nick Mullikin attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2009 to 2012. Nick completed a degree in Government and their field of study was Government.

Nashville Ballet

Since its founding in 1986, Nashville Ballet has grown to become the largest professional ballet company in Tennessee, presenting a varied repertoire of classical ballet and contemporary works by noted choreographers, including original works by Artistic Director & CEO Nick Mullikin and Resident Choreographer Mollie Sansone. Nashville Ballet owns its own building, The Martin Center for Nashville Ballet, a customized facility that serves as a home for our professional dancers, school students and administrative offices. Though some performances are held at The Martin Center for Nashville Ballet, most performances are held at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) in downtown Nashville.
