Nashville Children's Theatre
Tricia Combs is an experienced theatre educator and teaching artist with a diverse background in various educational institutions. Currently serving as a Theatre Educator at Nashville Children's Theatre since January 2016, Tricia has previously held positions as a Theatre Teacher at Valor Collegiate Academies from July 2017 to June 2022, and as a Teaching Artist at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center from September 2015 to December 2017. Tricia's extensive experience also includes serving as a Theatre Arts Teacher for the NYC Department of Education from September 2011 to August 2015, a Theatre Teacher with Harlem Children's Zone from August 2009 to August 2011, and a Teaching Artist at TADA! Youth Theater from August 2006 to August 2011. Tricia holds a Master of Education in Educational Theatre from City University of New York, completed in 2010, and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft from Western Michigan University, earned in 2004.
