Frances Takemoto

Frances Takemoto is a multilingual teacher at Nashville Classical Charter School since January 2022. With a Master of Education from Vanderbilt Peabody College, Frances has a background in researching connections between dual language learners' vocabulary and reading comprehension. Prior to their current role, Frances worked as a 3rd-grade teacher at Niva International School, where Frances developed curriculum based on the American Common Core for bilingual students. Frances also has experience as an English Language Teacher in Japan through the JET Program.
