Cedric W. Short

Cedric W. Short is a Senior Engineer in the Customer Engineering Standards Group at Nashville Electric Service, where responsibilities include managing utility compliance to codes and standards, materials, procurement, and processes since April 2018. Previously, Cedric held several roles at Schneider Electric from March 2007 to March 2018, including Product Offer Manager for metering and load centers, Engineering Architect for firmware and requirements, and R&D Design Engineering Manager for the PowerLogic Product Line, overseeing teams in electronic assembly development. Additionally, Cedric managed applications and sales support, as well as technical services in the IS&C Lighting Control Group. Cedric holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Volunteer State Community College, along with military training as an Electronics Technician in the United States Navy.
