Veronica Elders, MBA-HC, MSN, RN, currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at Nashville General Hospital since August 2015, providing strategic leadership for nursing and patient care functions. Responsibilities include overseeing nursing practice, ensuring high-quality care, and resource management on a 24/7 basis. Previous roles at Nashville General Hospital include Assistant Chief Nursing Officer and Administrative Director of Patient Throughput and Ambulatory Clinics. Prior to that, Veronica held positions at Monroe Carell Jr Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, progressing through various leadership roles in emergency services and nursing administration. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Health Care Administration from Western Governors University and a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Loyola University New Orleans.
