Marge Basrai has extensive experience in financial and fiscal management, particularly in the aviation industry. Marge served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, where they oversaw financial planning and analysis, budgeting and accounting, debt management, grant financial administration, and commercial development. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the same authority, where they were responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting and accounting, debt management, grant financial management, and procurement and inventory management.

Early in their career, Basrai worked at Rehmann as a Manager, where they planned and supervised commercial and governmental audits, provided business advisory services, and developed accounting and auditing training seminars. Marge also worked as a Staff Auditor/In-Charge at Stewart Beauvais & Whipple, conducting audits for various governmental and non-profit agencies.

Throughout their career, Basrai has demonstrated strong financial management skills and strategic leadership in the aviation industry.

Marge Basrai CPA, CGMA, C.M. pursued their education in accounting from Michigan State University. From 1985 to 1990, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting at Michigan State University. Following this, they went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Professional Accounting from the Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business from 1990 to 1991.
