Michael Sposato

Michael Sposato is the current Director at Nashville Symphony. Prior to this, they served as the General Counsel for Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation from March 2019 to September 2020. In this role, they managed a team of over 50 professionals in more than 14 offices across the globe.

Sposato began their career at Caterpillar Inc. in April 2005 as the General Counsel for the international financial services division. In this role, they oversaw a legal group of 45 professionals in 8 countries and managed assets totaling $25 billion. Michael left Caterpillar Inc. in January 2011 to semi-retire.

In January 2000, Sposato became the Senior Corporate Counsel for Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation. Michael was promoted to General Counsel of Solar Turbines Europe S.A. in March 1996 and held this position until December 1999 when they returned to Caterpillar Inc.
