Veterinary Technician Assistant at Nashville Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency

Rebecca Garner is an experienced veterinary technician assistant currently employed at Nashville Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency since September 2021. Prior roles include serving as a cat welfare and customer service officer at Cat Haven, and as an avian/interpretation fellow at Alaska SeaLife Center. Rebecca has also contributed to wildlife care as a caretaker for Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand, where responsibilities included feeding and enclosure maintenance for wildlife, and as a wildlife rehabilitation intern at both Wildlife Care Clinic and Black Hawk Wildlife Rehabilitation Program. Additionally, Rebecca has experience as an adoption counselor at Cedar Bend Humane Society and worked as a peer advisor for Iowa State University Study Abroad Center. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Ecology from Iowa State University and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Tasmania.
