Whitney Roman

Primate Keeper at Nashville Zoo

Whitney Roman currently serves as a Primate Keeper at Nashville Zoo since October 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Animal Keeper at Virginia Safari Park and involvement in the Primate Department at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Previous experience at Zoo Knoxville focused on the Great Apes Department, while Whitney also worked in Terrestrial Animal Husbandry at Newport Aquarium. Volunteer work in animal husbandry occurred at both Primate Rescue Center and Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Whitney obtained a degree in Animal Studies from Eastern Kentucky University, completed in 2019.
