Nasittuq Corporation

Nasittuq Corporation provides in-service support and facility operations and maintenance for the North Warning System. We also have a contract to provide site support and management services for the Ellesmere Island Commercial Support Contract in Alert, Nunavut. Nasittuq's mission is to provide exemplary technical and management services to our Canadian Government customers, while increasing opportunities for Inuit participation as trainees, employees, suppliers and owners. Nasittuq Corporation is a partnership between ATCO Frontec Ltd. and Pan Arctic Inuit Logistics Corporation (PAIL). PAIL is an organization wholly owned by seven shareholder corporations representing Canada’s Inuit community. These organizations Include: Inuvialuit Development Corporation (IDC); Nunasi Corporation; Makivik Corporation; the Nunatsiavut Group of Companies (NGC); Qikiqtaaluk Corporation; Sakku Investments Corporation, and Kitikmeot Corporation. PAIL’s first initiative was to pursue the award of the North Warning System operations and maintenance contract through a Joint Venture with ATCO Frontec.
