Eirik Frisvold Hanssen

Eirik Frisvold Hanssen is a seasoned professional in the field of film and media studies, currently serving as a Research Librarian and Head of the Film and Broadcasting Section at the National Library of Norway since June 2014. Prior to this role, Eirik held the position of Associate Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology from August 2008 to May 2014 and worked as a Lecturer at Örebro University from September 2006 to August 2008. Eirik also gained experience as an Archivist at the Ingmar Bergman Foundation under the Swedish Film Institute in early 2007 and engaged in doctoral research as a PhD Candidate in the Department of Media Studies at Stockholm University from September 2001 to August 2006. Eirik Frisvold Hanssen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Stockholm University.
