Nico Marais

Nico Marais has extensive experience in finance and management, currently serving as General Manager Finance at Prosus Group since September 2019, following the company's listing on Euronext Amsterdam. Prior to this role, Nico held various finance positions within Naspers Group, including General Manager Finance and Group Finance Manager, as well as serving as Chief Financial Officer for Media24's newspaper division and Via Afrika. Nico's career began at Deloitte & Touche, where the role included Assistant Manager in Auditing. Educational qualifications include CA (SA) certification obtained through the PAAB Qualifying Exam, and an Honours Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Stellenbosch University.
