James Mason

James Mason is an experienced Chief Information Officer at NASPO ValuePoint since February 2019, responsible for building and leading high-performing IT teams and preparing reports for the Board of Directors. Previously, James served as Deputy Chief Information Officer, taking on the role of temporary CIO and Interim Executive Director for managed organizations. Prior experience includes IT Manager at the University of Kentucky, overseeing course creation in the Canvas Learning Management Software and managing vendor relationships. Additionally, James worked as an Enterprise Resources Planning Business Analyst at Carteret Community College, developing the Microsoft SharePoint internal website, and as a Faculty Member at Sullivan University, teaching various courses in dynamic web design and programming. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Business Informatics from Northern Kentucky University, a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Kentucky State University, and an Associate's degree in Information Technology from Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
