Christy Lastihenos

Christy Lastihenos is a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience in providing therapy services to children aged 5-13. Currently employed at Nassau BOCES since October 2023, Christy has previously worked at the Interdisciplinary Center for Child Development, Inc. and All in 1 S.P.O.T. with Theratalk, as well as within the NYC Department of Education. Responsibilities have included collaborating with teachers and parents, evaluating student progress, and attending IEP meetings. Christy holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Adelphi University, earned between 2012 and 2019. Prior experience includes positions as a special needs caregiver and au pair from August 2013 to September 2019.
