Elaine Reidman Phillips

Elaine Reidman Phillips currently serves as the Nassau County Comptroller, a position held since January 2022. With extensive experience in both public service and finance, Elaine has held significant roles including Senator in the New York State Senate, where chairs were held for the Senate Internal Governance and Ethics Committee, Banking Committee, and Infrastructure and Capital Investment Committee. Previous positions include Mayor and Trustee for the Village of Flower Hill and Trustee for the Village of Munsey Park. In the financial sector, Elaine worked as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan specializing in fixed income and mortgage finance, along with serving as a Financial Advisor at CAPTRUST. An accomplished martial artist, Elaine is a 5th Degree Black Belt and serves as a Sa Bon Nim at Kwon's Karate Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Penn State Smeal MBA Program and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Penn State University.
