Jack Schnirman is an experienced public service leader, currently serving as Comptroller for Nassau County since January 2018. Previously, Schnirman held the position of City Manager for Long Beach, New York, from 2012 to 2018, where efforts were focused on revitalizing a financially distressed city. Additional roles include serving as Career Guide at NYU Wagner School of Public Service, Vice President of Management Consulting at Bowne AE&T Group, a board member for the League of Conservation Voters for Long Island, and Chief Deputy Supervisor for the Town of Brookhaven. Schnirman has also made significant contributions in campaign management and organizational leadership through various nonprofit initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Tufts University.
