Mollie Bassett

Autism Educator at Nassau County Museum of Art

Mollie Bassett, MA, ATR-BC, LCAT, currently serves as the Director of Operations at Gallery22 since September 2022 and works as an Autism Educator at the Nassau County Museum of Art since October 2017. Previously, Mollie held the position of Art Therapist at Coalition for Hispanic Family Services from September 2019 to August 2022 and worked as an Art Workshop Program Assistant and Assistant Director at the Town of Babylon Deer Park Community Center from May 2017 to September 2019. Additional experience includes roles as a Community Programs Teaching Artist and Intern at the Children's Museum of the Arts, ArtAccess Educator at Queens Museum, and various Art Therapy Internship positions at Coalition for Hispanic Family Services, Jamaica Hospital, A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility, and Healing Arts Initiative. Mollie earned a Master’s degree in Creative Art Therapy from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
