Nassau County Museum of Art
Reem Hussein is a visual artist and educator with extensive experience in arts management and instruction. Currently serving as the Manager of The Art Education Center at Nassau County Museum of Art since July 2017, Reem has a background in both teaching and gallery assistance. Previous roles include Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland University College, where responsibilities included teaching courses in drawing, art appreciation, and photography. Reem also held the position of Chair of Visual and Performing Arts at The Knox School and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at C.W. Post Campus at LIU. An early career as a Gallery Assistant at Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery complemented Reem's educational accolades, which include a BFA in Interior Design and Restoration from the Fashion Institute of Technology and an MFA in Fine Art from LIU Post.
