Sam S.f. Caligiuri

Sam S.F. Caligiuri serves as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Assistant Secretary at Nassau Financial Group since November 2016, leading a team that provides legal advice on insurance operations and related matters. Previously held the role of Vice President, Insurance Regulatory and Government Affairs, where responsibilities included advancing regulatory and legislative priorities. Prior to Nassau, Caligiuri was Senior Vice President & General Counsel at ConnectiCare and a Partner at Day Pitney LLP, focusing on insurance regulatory and transactional matters. Caligiuri also served as a State Senator in the Connecticut General Assembly and as Deputy Legal Counsel to the Governor of Connecticut. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Boston College.
