Shauna Wimberly

Shauna Wimberly has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2011, they worked at Nassau Financial Group, where they held various roles. Shauna began as a Senior Business Analyst, leading a team in analyzing and evaluating product/project specifications. Shauna then transitioned to a role as a Senior Actuarial Analyst, where they executed the quarterly valuation process for the Growth Annuity team and assisted with implementing process improvements. Subsequently, they served as a Director, overseeing and delivering the quarterly reporting process and results for GAAP and STAT of the Growth Annuity and Traditional Life valuation line of business. Shauna supported the implementation of maintenance activities on the valuation system and recommended automation in the valuation process. Most recently, they are working as a Senior Test Lead, contributing to the reporting process and ensuring accuracy.

Prior to their time at Nassau Financial Group, Shauna worked as a University Assistant at Southern Connecticut State University from 2008 to 2009.

Shauna Wimberly has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Southern Connecticut State University from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Shauna has obtained several certifications related to test automation, including "Test Automation with Python: 9 Designing Your Test Suite," "Test Automation Foundations," "Test Automation with Python: 1 Introduction to Automated Testing," "Test Automation with Python: 2 Python for Testers," "Test Automation with Python: 3 Testing Web and Mobile," "Test Automation with Python: 4 The WebDriver Automation Architecture," "Test Automation with Python: 5 Web Browser Automation with Selenium," and "Test Automation with Python: 6 Elements and Selectors." These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in February and March of 2022.
