Kristy Steiger

Kristy Steiger, M.S., BCBA, currently serves as a Behavior Consultant and Special Education Case Manager at Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism since June 2018. With extensive experience in behavior analysis and services for individuals with developmental disabilities, Kristy has held various roles at Helping Hands Children Services, including Coordinator, Registered Behavior Technician, and Behavior Therapist since 2015. Prior experience includes a Medicaid Service Coordinator at Human First, Inc., and a Paraprofessional at Western Suffolk BOCES, where Kristy supported Autistic children. An internship as a Social Worker at Oswego Hospital Behavioral Services provided experience in acute psychiatric settings. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University, a Master's in Human Services, Clinical Psychology from Post University, and a Bachelor's in Human Development from the State University of New York at Oswego.
