Javed Iqbal has worked as the Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care at Nassau Health Care Corporation since October 2006. Javed also has experience as an Attending Physician and Assistant Professor at Montefiore Medical Center, starting in 2006.
Javed Iqbal has a diverse education history. Javed completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at King George's Medical University from 1986 to 1991. Later, in 1996 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Oklahoma. Moving forward, they attended the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, where they completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program from 2000 to 2003 and the Pulmonary Disease Residency Program from 2003 to 2005. Further, they pursued a Fellowship in Critical Care at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2005 to 2006. Javed Iqbal obtained several certifications, including Neurocritical Care Certification in 2010, Internal Medicine - Critical Care Medicine in 2006, Pulmonary Disease in 2005, and Internal Medicine in 2003.
