Vishal Nagpal is a seasoned professional in data science and analytics, currently serving as a Data Science and Analytics Leader for the Trustworthy Shopping Experience at Amazon since November 2021. Additionally, Vishal contributes pro bono as a mentor for the DeepTech Club at NASSCOM and various startups in the Deeptech and AI sectors. Previously, Vishal held the position of VP and Head of Data Science and Analytics at ZEE5, and served as a Senior Manager at American Express, where a focus was placed on customer marketing data science. Earlier career experiences include senior roles at The Smart Cube, Grail Insights, Idea Cellular Ltd, and Amdocs. Vishal holds an Executive Program in Data Science from the Indian School of Business, an MBA in Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai, and a BE in Computer Science from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.
